OUR RESEARCH

Child Welfare
Our child welfare research has focused on the outcomes of parents whose children were placed in out-of-home care (e.g., foster care). We have conducted this research using linkable administrative data from Canada and Sweden.

Pregnancy
Our pregnancy-related research has focused on predictors and outcomes of pregnancy loss and pregnancy complications. To conduct this resarch, we have used linkable administrative data from Canada, the United States, and Sweden.

Other
We have also conducted research in the areas of child development, family influence, life course epidemiology, among others.
Funding
This work has been conducted, in part, thanks to funding from the Canada Research Chairs program, the Social Science and Humanities Research Council, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
